Allison van Wyk
Property Practitioner
I started my career in the Property Management Industry back in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape and oversaw the maintenance and inspections of the properties in the rentals division. I then advanced to the position of rental administrator overseeing all administration duties relating to rentals. I enrolled at SAREA (South African Real Estate Academy) and obtained my NQF 4. I am now a Property Practitioner at The Bellbuoy Group and look forward to the new venture and the many opportunities that come with the position.
Amy Brandt
Financial Administrator
My career commenced in the property industry with The Bellbuoy Group, where I gained extensive experience over three and a half years. Prior to this role, I served as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant in Johannesburg and gained experience in the retail industry in Gqeberha. Seeking to diversify my skills in a different financial domain, I transitioned from The Bellbuoy Group to the medical industry. I then had the privilege of rejoining The Bellbuoy Group as a Financial Administrator. I am grateful for the opportunity to return, looking forward to what the future holds, and am committed to contributing my best efforts in this role.
Anette de Vos
Office Administrator
I was employed by the Bellbuoy Group from 2003 to 2011, when I took a brief period of leave, returning in January 2012. I was initially employed as a bookkeeper and then moved into a receptionist position, which I thoroughly enjoy. I believe it is important to give a professional yet friendly service to all who visit Bellbuoy. It is a pleasure to work for the Company and with such great staff.
Cheryl du Sart
Financial Administrator (Rentals & Sales Division)
I started at Bellbuoy on the 25th of October 2010. I started as a bookkeeper in the property management division. It was also my responsibility to undertake all the accounting functions for the schemes in my portfolio. In October 2014 I moved to the Rental Department as the Financial Administrator in the rental department. In January 2017 I am continuing with my role as Financial Administrator in the rental department, but also doing bookkeeping in our Business Accounting Services Department. I am proud to be part of Bellbuoy and look forward to working with all the people here for many more years.

I was appointed at Bellbuoy as a financial administrator in October 2017. Prior to joining Bellbuoy I worked in the manufacturing industry for 4 years. I am new to this position and look forward to the challenges that

Debbie Wagg

I started my journey in the real estate industry in 2021, after completing my NQF4 and logbook in 19 months, and qualified in 2022. This new chapter in my life has opened exciting and challenging opportunities in the Real Estate Industry. Joining The Bellbuoy Group in the Rental and Sales Division has given me the drive to go from strength to strength. I am a people’s person and I enjoy working and meeting new people daily. Giving a smile, can make someone’s day, being friendly, breaks down barriers and opens new doors.

Donnae Murphy

I joined the Bellbuoy team in November 2021 as a Portfolio Manager. I completed the Paddocks course and obtained my certificate in Sectional Title Scheme Management in 2011. I then ventured into a different industry for 9 years, during this time I completed my BA degree in Psychological Counselling and graduated in 2019. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and am excited to be back and joining a team of leaders in this field.

I joined The Bellbuoy Group in May 2021 as a Property Portfolio Manager. Before being employed at Bellbuoy I worked in the field of education from 2015. I have an academic background in Psychology and Criminology. I look forward to new challenges and building lasting relationships. I hope to grow personally and professionally in this new career path.

In October 1997 I joined Bellbuoy as a bookkeeper after having worked in the banking industry for 10 years since leaving school, and having spent a number of years assisting my husband in running our own businesses. I became a Property Portfolio Manager in 2006 and obtained my certificate in Sectional Title Management through UCT in 2007. I enjoy working with people and strive to give my best to everyone that I deal with.

After working as a bookkeeper for 21 years in the construction industry, I stayed home for 2 years and then took a temporary position with Broll Property Group before starting at Bellbuoy on the 27th of January 2014 as a financial administrator. I am proud to be part of the Bellbuoy Group and look forward to a bright future.
Glenda de Villiers
Rental and Sales Division Administrator
I have been in the property industry for the past 20 years where I started as a bookkeeper and then Office Manager in one of the top Estate Agency offices in Gauteng. I was also a bookkeeper in Commercial Properties for 8 years but when family responsibilities called, did we relocate to the Eastern Cape.
I joined The Bellbuoy Group in February 2013 as a Financial Administrator in the Sectional Title division and moved to the Rental Division in 2019 and is now the Rental and Sales Administrator. I am pleased working for The Bellbuoy Group and always excited to see what the future holds for this Top Leader in the property industry.

After starting my career in the banking industry, where I worked for 9 years, I entered the property management profession where I worked as a portfolio manager specializing in commercial properties for 10 years. I joined Bellbuoy in May 2015 to continue my career as a portfolio manager in sectional title and look forward to my new role within the property industry. I successfully completed the UCT Sectional Title Scheme Management Course with Paddocks in June 2016.
Hennie Marais
Manager - Property Management Division
I joined the Bellbuoy Group in July 2016 as a Property Portfolio Manager. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Science at the University of Port Elizabeth (NMMU) in 2000, I worked in the Micro Finance Industry for 12 years as manager then as owner. In between, I was a General Manager at a Petrol Station for 4 years as well. These positions held enabled me to gain valuable experience and develop my commercial skills in a diverse and all-round capacity. I enjoy working with people and strive to give my best at all times. I am excited about this opportunity, as I am new to the property management profession, I am looking forward to what the future holds.

I had the privilege of joining The Bellbuoy Group in May 2015. I have vast experience in the logistical and administrative field and was the Operational Manager for a large furniture concern in Johannesburg for 14 years. My mission statement is to provide the highest level of service and professionalism to all owners and trustees. My work ethic is influenced by the motto of “Facta non Verba” – “Deeds not Words” to get the job done efficiently. I successfully completed the UCT Sectional Title Scheme Management Course with Paddocks in June 2016.

Kate Saunders is a seasoned public relations professional with a passion for ethics and customer service. She has worked with high-profile individuals and her expertise lies in crafting compelling narratives, crisis management, and influencer partnerships. Kate has excellent problem-solving skills and is quick to think on her feet. Outside of work, Kate volunteers at nonprofit organisations and enjoys cooking for her family and long walks on the beach.
Karen Schepers

I joined the Bellbuoy Group in February 2015. Prior to joining Bellbuoy I ran a domestic cleaning business for twelve years. I also worked as an estate agent for two years and was involved in IT for sixteen years as a programmer. I successfully completed the UCT Sectional Title Scheme Management Course with Paddocks in November 2015.
Karolina Koteva-Scheckle

I am an admitted attorney with an LLB Degree from NMMU, obtained in 2014. After completing my articles at BDLS Attorneys, I was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2017. My passion for property law led me to work in the Conveyancing Department at Strömbeck Attorneys. Recently, I decided to pivot slightly in my career by joining The Bellbuoy Group, while continuing to focus on the property sector. I am eager to apply my legal expertise within the property management industry.

Prior to joining the Bellbuoy Family I was working in the retail industry when I decided to continue my studies. I graduated with a diploma in accountancy in 2020 (NMMU) with an advanced diploma in accounting where I majored in internal auditing thereafter. I have since become a proud employee of the Bellbuoy Group and aspire to deliver excellence.

In May 2009 I was given the opportunity to work in the insurance administration division until January 2012, when I joined the Property Transfers and Payroll division. I have recently been promoted to the Head of Systems Administration Department & Internal Compliance Officer. I strive to provide a professional service to all our clients in all aspects of my job.

Prior to joining the Bellbuoy Group in October 2020, I gained my experience in Property Management working as a Property Administrator for Gutsche Investment and Management Company (GIMCO) for 7 years before moving to Johannesburg, were I had the pleasure of working for SMADA Properties and Fieldspace Property Group as a Property Administrator for the past 5 years before returning back to Port Elizabeth, were I then joined the family business in the Liquor Industry - Liquorland (aka Pops). I look forward to being a part of the Bellbuoy Group.

However, I became more interested in the finance field where I have gained over twenty years of bookkeeping experience. I left Port Elizabeth to pursue my dreams in Cape Town where I was lucky to work alongside very talented people in various fields including publishing, real estate and marketing. I made my way back to Port Elizabeth a few years ago to be closer to my family, which is my first love. I am deadline and detail driven by nature and will draw on this to give of my best at Bellbuoy Property Management.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my Jack Russell, Mika, as well as with family and friends, and my favourite spot is the beach. I am committed to making the Directors' lives easier and ensuring a smooth, efficient day at the office.

I joined the Bellbuoy Group after working in the tourism and sales industry for 20 years. The bulk of those years were spent in various managerial positions in hospitality, managing hotels, conference venues and golf estates, after which I worked for three years as Client Relationship Manager, managing a portfolio of more than 100 clients in the FMCG Industry. My knowledge gained in operations, sales, human resources, finance and client relations will assist in my role as portfolio manager at the Bellbuoy Group. I am excited for my new venture and the client relationships I will build along the way.
